Last October 6, 2017, IMC Student Jia Ruth Lauren P. Condino gave a stellar performance as Gretl Von Trapp in the well-loved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound of Music. Jia along with other local talents, were cast as children of Captain Geog von Trapp. The iconic musical was held at the The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City. Teachers and Admin headed by IMC Director T. Angie watched and showed their all out support for Jia. The mother of Jia, Mrs. Condino, expressed her gratitude for the support IMC has showed Jia and wrote an email in which Jia said that to be greeted and cheered by Teacher Angie and the teachers after the show was like “heaven.” Mrs. Condino also mentioned that Jia’s participation during the theatrical production of IMC Onstage in celebration of IMC 25th year which was also held at The Solaire Theater helped boost Jia’s confidence during the auditions for Sound of Music.
